ESO2 ST GEORGE'S DAY

If I ask you what you know about St George's Day, you will probably tell me about this day in Catalonia. Maybe some ideas similar to the ones collected by C. Estrada from St. Paul's school in Barcelona.

But did you know that we are not the only ones to celebrate this day around the world?

In fact 23 April is England's national day. In the following link you will find information about Sy George and how he became England's patron saint.

ESO2 YOUR GLOGSTERS

I have already seen all the glogsters you sent me about the tsunami which hit Japan. All of them are really nice and I have chosen a few of them to show you.

Judit (2A) Glogster 1
Joan (2B)  Glogster 2
Albert C. (2A) Glogster 3
Paula F. (2A)  Glogster 4
Paula M. (2A) Glogster 5

Has anybody seen this image before? It is the only tree to have survived in Rikuzentakata after the tsunami. This is what a lot of people would call a miracle. Do you agree?

ESO2 DAILY ROUTINES :READING COMPREHESION AND MORE

The following link will take you to a short text about John's daily routines. Read the text and do the four exercises.

John´s Daily Routine, by l4facc

The last exercise is about frequency adverbs. As you know this kind of adverbs are used to say how often something happens. Although we all should know them, we can revise them in Saber inglés where you can find a table with the most common frequency adverbs and their translation.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

Things have changed quite a lot. Well, or maybe not. When I was a child I remember we painted boiled eggs in the Arts and Crafts lesson. Before our Easter holidays we all took our eggs and hid them in the playground. The egg hunt was then ready to start ...

Can you imagine all the kids in primary running around looking for an egg? It was amazing! And as this activity was done the last day before Easter we all considered it as the beginning of the holidays.

As we don't do any activity similar to this one I can only say:
